1. Why is Ruby Canyon Dental making this change?
We’re switching to the Delta Dental Premier network and are now IN-NETWORK with Cigna DPPO. By moving to better networks, we will continue to offer you the best care without cutting corners.
2. Will I have to pay more?
You’ll see little to no difference in your regular check-ups and cleanings in what you pay. Depending on your plan, there might be a slight increase for other treatments, like fillings or crowns. We’ll always let you know an estimate of any fees not covered before accepting any treatment.
3. Can you charge more than Delta Dental’s fees?
No, we can’t. Because we’re staying in-network with Delta Dental as a Premier provider, you’re protected from higher costs. Some dentists who aren’t in the Delta network can set their own prices, but by sticking with us, you’ll keep benefiting from Delta’s negotiated rates.
4. Will my current benefits still work at Ruby Canyon Dental?
Yes, absolutely—if you have both a Delta Dental PPO and Premier plan, you’re all set! More good news is that most Cigna patients are still considered in-network with us, and can continue receiving benefits just like before.
5. How can I check what kind of plan I have?
It’s easy! Just contact your insurance provider to check your plan and they’ll help you out.
