Oral Manifestations of Systemic and Vaping-Related
Diseases; Identifying the At-Risk Dental Patient in Hygiene.

This interactive workshop features the top three requested hygiene topics in 2022 all in one course! Featured topics include:

Section one of the course begins with a review of oral disease, systemic indicators, and assessments required in Hygiene to diagnose oral disease properly. Section two takes a more in-depth review of the impact of vaping on oral disease and overall health and considerations in dental care to manage patients with a known or suspected e-cigarette or vaping product use. Section three explores hygiene considerations for implant or chronically ill dental patients. The workshop includes an exercise to formulate a comprehensive outcome-based treatment plan and documentation that mitigates risk using best practices for patient communication techniques that create awareness of the importance of the hygiene visit.
